Jay Ambey Everfresh

Jay Ambey Everfresh is a small shop located on Var Ruchi Marg in the Freeganj area of Ujjain. You can find us tucked away right behind the Gurudwara. It is a pretty quiet spot compared to the main roads, but we stay fairly busy because of the people coming to and from the Gurudwara. We have been running this shop for many years now and it has become a regular part of our lives. We sell all sorts of things like snacks, packaged sweets, cold drinks, and other small items people might need in a hurry. It is not a big supermarket or anything like that, just a local everfresh store where you can grab a quick bite. My son and I handle most of the work here. We do not have any fancy displays or expensive lighting. The shelves are just the same ones we have used forever, and the floor is a bit scuffed from all the feet walking over it. We know most of the people who live in the houses around here and they stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. During the festival seasons in Ujjain, we get a lot more people coming through, including many pilgrims who are visiting the temples. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and the place tidy enough for our customers. It is a simple business and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
