Guru Kripa Bakers Private Limited is out in Shade No. 39 in the Udhyogpuri area of Ujjain. It’s an industrial zone off Agar Road, so there are a lot of factories and sheds around us. Our place is basically a big metal shade where we have all our equipment set up. It’s not a fancy storefront. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. Being in Udhyogpuri means we have to deal with the dust and the noise from the other industrial units nearby. Inside, we have the ovens lined up. The heat from the metal roof can make it quite warm in the middle of the day, so we have fans going all the time. We work on the Agar Road side of Khedapati, and the pincode is 456001 if anyone is looking for us. We spend the morning unloading supplies and the afternoon getting everything ready to ship out. It is a very practical setup. We don't have any decorations or soft seating. It’s just concrete floors and heavy-duty tables. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. We don’t talk much while we are working because of the noise from the machines. It’s just about getting the batches through the ovens and making sure nothing burns. We stay here until the last order is packed and the floor is hosed down for the next day. It's plain work and it keeps us occupied.
