We've been at No. 64 Fazal Pura for a while now. The building is easy to find if you know the neighborhood. Most mornings start early here because people are usually in a hurry to get things moving. There's always a bit of grease on someone's hands and the smell of oil is just part of the air. It gets noisy when the engines start up, but you get used to it after the first few days. The street outside can get pretty cramped with vehicles coming and going. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the busiest place around here when we take a break. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a practical workspace with tools everywhere and parts sitting on shelves. Some of the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work comes first. Most of the guys here have been working with motors since they were kids. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure things fit right. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself talk. We just keep at it until the sun goes down. People stop by to ask questions or just to see what’s currently in the shop. It’s a busy spot in Fazal Pura and we like it that way. No one wears a tie here and the floor is always a bit dusty, but that’s how a real garage should be.
