Deloitte Haskins Sells

Out here in Ujjain, life moves at a slightly different pace, and our office reflects that. We are Deloitte Haskins Sells. We spend our hours dealing with all the financial details that businesses in this area need help with. The office itself is pretty basic. It has plain white walls and enough shelf space for all the binders we have to keep. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just have a small group of people who know how to handle ledger books and tax filings. Usually, the morning starts with sorting through the mail and checking the schedule for the week. Since we are in 456006, we get a mix of local business owners coming in. They aren't looking for a corporate speech, they just want to know their books are right. We sit at our desks, drink our chai, and go through the rows and columns of data until the sun starts to go down. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we have to wait for a document to arrive by courier. We just deal with those things as they come. It’s a lot of staring at spreadsheets and talking on the phone with various offices. We don’t use any complicated jargon if we can help it. We just explain the numbers clearly and make sure the paperwork is filed on time with the authorities. It’s honest work. We are glad to be doing it here in Ujjain and keeping the accounts in good order.
