Our place is located in Village Post Runkheda, which is part of the Khachrod area in Ujjain district. Being out here in the village means we are pretty close to the fields and the people who actually work the land. Bharat Insecticides Ltd. is not some glass-tower operation; we are right in the middle of where the actual work happens. Usually, the day starts early because that is when everyone else is up and moving. We deal with all sorts of products meant for the farms around here. It can get quite dusty during the dry season and a bit muddy when the rains come, but that is just how it is in Runkheda. We have some local guys helping us out with the heavy lifting and keeping the inventory straight in the back. Sometimes the transport trucks take a while to find us on these back roads, but they always get here in the end. We spend a lot of time talking to folks from the nearby villages about what they need for their crops. It is a lot of practical talk, nothing too fancy or professional. We have been here for a good bit now and everyone knows our spot near the post office. We do not worry about being the biggest name out there. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the supplies are ready when the season hits. It is honest work and it keeps the community going.
