Bafna Namkeen Private Limited has been around at 127 Sati Gate in Ujjain for quite some time. If you know the Sati Gate area, you know it is one of the oldest and most crowded parts of the city. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and activity. We make namkeen, which is a big part of the food culture here in Ujjain. The work isn't easy. We spend most of our time in the back where the large pans are. It gets very hot, and the air is always thick with the smell of chickpea flour and spices. We are a private limited company on paper, but in reality, we are just a small group of people doing manual labor. We don't have a marketing team or a social media manager. We just open the doors every morning and get to work. Some days we have more orders than we can handle, and other days it’s a bit quiet. We don't have any grand vision for the future. We just want to keep the quality of our namkeen where it should be. It’s a messy job, and our clothes are usually stained with oil by the end of the shift. We are just another shop in the busy streets of Ujjain, trying to do our part and keep the business going. It’s practical, hard work, and that is all we know.
