Badshah Steel Railings

We set up Badshah Steel Railings at Plot No 3/1 in Arpita Colony. We’re over in the Nanakheda area, quite close to the Main Indore Road. Being near the main road makes it easier for people to find us, though the traffic can be a headache sometimes. Our workspace is where we spend all our time making railings and fixing things up. It’s a lot of welding and cutting, so there are always sparks flying somewhere in the back. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a small team of us. We have some old benches and a lot of scrap metal lying around the corners. Arpita Colony is a quiet enough place except for when we are working. We try to keep things organized, but when you're busy, the floor just gets covered in metal shavings. We don't have a polished showroom to show people. Usually, if someone wants to see what we do, they just look at what we are currently working on in the shop. We’ve been in Nanakheda for a while and we like the community here. Most of our work comes from people nearby who just walk in. We don't do much advertising; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s a practical life, working with your hands every day. Sometimes the heat from the welding makes the shop really hot, especially in the summer months, but we just keep going. We keep a cooler with water in the corner for everyone. It’s not much, but it helps.
