We are Ashok Kumar Bhagwandas, and you can find us at Building No. 152 in the Sindhi Colony area of Daulat Ganj. This business has been in the family for a very long time. It’s named after my father and grandfather, and we try to keep things running the same way they did years ago. We deal with various goods, mostly wholesale stuff that people in Daulat Ganj need for their shops. The building is old and has a lot of character, even if the stairs creak a bit when you walk up. We don't use any high-tech systems or fancy computers here. We mostly use paper ledgers and our own memory to keep track of things. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works perfectly for us. Sindhi Colony is a tight-knit place, and we know our neighbors very well. We see the same faces every single day, which makes the work feel more personal. We aren't trying to expand into a giant company or anything. We just want to provide for our families and keep the shop open for the next generation. Some days the shop is crowded with people talking and drinking tea, and other days it’s very quiet. We don't put out ads or any marketing. Word of mouth is how people find out about what we have in stock. We are just a local shop in Daulat Ganj doing our best to serve the community.
