Amitabh Hair Saloon

If you walk down Collectorate Road in Shajapur, you will see our shop near the main head office area. It is a simple hair saloon where we have been cutting hair for the local people for quite some time. We have the usual chairs and mirrors set up, and there is always a bit of music or news playing in the background to keep things lively. The floor needs sweeping constantly because of all the hair, but we try to keep it as tidy as a busy shop can be. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby or work in the government offices down the street. They come in for a quick trim or a shave and we catch up on what is happening in town. Shajapur can get pretty warm, so we keep the fans going all day long. It is a small space but it works for what we do. We don't really do anything too complicated, just standard haircuts and grooming that people need every few weeks. The mornings are usually the busiest time before everyone starts their work day. You can find us easily because we are right there on the main stretch of the road. It’s an honest day's work and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces that come through the door every month. Sometimes people sit and talk for a while even after their cut is finished. We just try to keep a steady pace so nobody has to wait too long for a chair.
