Amit Agro Farm

Amit Agro Farm sits near the High School in Gita Colony over in Tarana. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the bigger towns, but the school kids make a lot of noise during their breaks which we have gotten used to over the years. We spend most of our time dealing with farming matters and whatever the current season requires. The farm isn't some high-tech operation; it is just a piece of land and some sheds where we keep our tools and supplies. Gita Colony is a nice place to be based because everyone knows where the high school is, so we never have to give complicated directions to anyone coming to see us. The work changes depending on the weather. Some months are incredibly busy with planting or harvesting, and other times we are just fixing fences or checking on the soil. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Usually, if someone wants to talk to us, they just find us out near the back or sitting in the shade of the main shed. It’s a lot of manual labor and getting our hands dirty, which is just how farm life goes. We have been in Tarana for a good while, and the soil here is something we’ve learned to work with through trial and error. There is always something that needs doing, whether it is clearing out old brush or prepping a new patch of ground. We just keep at it day by day.
