Unity Rock Industries

Unity Rock Industries is based out of Nalkur, specifically at number 34 in Kudi. It’s a quiet enough area until we get the machines going. We deal with rocks and stones, mostly crushing them down into different sizes for construction work. It’s a rough business, and the equipment takes a lot of maintenance to keep it running smooth. We spend most of our time out in the open, which is fine until the monsoon hits and everything turns to mud. We’re just a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from operating the crushers to helping with the loading. We don’t have any big corporate goals, we just want to make sure the stone we produce is solid and useful. Most of the customers are people from right here in Nalkur or the villages nearby. They know where we are and what we do. We try to be helpful and get the trucks loaded without making a big fuss about it. The work is repetitive, but it’s important for all the new buildings going up around here. It’s a lot of dust and hard work, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the rocks crushed and the orders sent out. It’s what we do, and we’re happy to keep doing it here in Kudi. No matter the weather, we try to stay on top of the piles.
