The English Academy

Our academy is located on the second floor of the Muttu Mahal Building. We are right on the Main Road in Kundapura West, which is very close to Shastri Circle. It is a good location in Udupi because almost everyone in town knows where Shastri Circle is. We spend most of our time teaching English to anyone who wants to learn or improve. It is usually local students or people who want to speak better for their jobs. The building itself is quite busy, with several other shops and offices around us. We have a few classrooms set up with simple wooden benches and whiteboards. It is nothing fancy, just a plain place to sit and study. We often keep the windows open to let in some air, even though you can hear the buses and cars going by on the Main Road below. It is a very hands-on environment for learning. We do not use a lot of high-tech equipment, just books, pens, and a lot of conversation. Sometimes we take a little tea break in between the different sessions. We have been here for a while and have seen many different students pass through our doors. It is always nice when someone comes back later to tell us they got a new job or passed an important exam. We are not part of a big chain, just a local spot in Kundapura. People here are very friendly and we like it that way.
