Sri Sai Engineering Works

Sri Sai Engineering Works is based at House No. 171 in the New Byappanahalli Extension. We are in the Sri Manjunatha Nilayam building on the 3rd Cross in BM Kaval. It’s a residential-style area that’s been taken over by small workshops like ours over the years. The street is a bit narrow, so getting big deliveries in can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we make it work. Our setup is pretty straightforward with lathes and drill presses taking up most of the room. There’s always a pile of metal shavings in the corner that needs sweeping up at the end of the shift. The noise from the machines can be quite loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the work. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren’t all related. We’ve been in this part of Byappanahalli for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Most days are spent on the 3rd Cross, just fixing whatever comes through the door or working on specific orders for other local businesses. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our sign on the wall and the reputation we’ve built up by word of mouth in the extension. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s where we do our best to keep up with the daily list of tasks.
