Sri Matha Hospital

Church Road in Kundapura is a place everyone around here knows well. Our hospital has been sitting here for quite some time now, watching the town change. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stand, but most people don't mind since it's a familiar route. We aren't a massive chain or anything like that, just a local hospital where the staff knows most of the patients by their first names. When you walk in, you won't find marble floors or fancy artwork on the walls. It’s more about having clean rooms and enough beds for when things get busy. The rains in Kundapura can be heavy, and sometimes that makes the road a bit muddy, but we keep the inside tidy and dry. We have people coming in from the nearby villages too, not just from the town itself. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded on market days, but we manage to get through the list. It’s a plain building, and that’s how we like it because it feels like home to the people who live nearby. Our doctors have their offices down the main hall, and they usually stay late if there’s a line. We don’t spend much time on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on making sure the equipment works and the medicine is stocked up for whoever needs it that day. It's just how a small-town hospital runs. We are glad to be part of the community here.
