Sri Durga Tourist

Sri Durga Tourist is based in Kunjal Jeddu, over in the Brahmavara area of Udupi. This is more of a rural setting compared to the town center, surrounded by more greenery and space. We run our tourist and travel operations from here, focusing on giving people a way to get around this part of the district. Our setup is quite basic. We have our vehicles and a small office where we manage the bookings. Most of our customers are from nearby villages or people visiting family in Brahmavara. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a big sales team. Usually, people just call us up because they got our number from a neighbor or saw one of our cars on the road. The work involves a lot of driving and even more waiting. We spend a lot of time maintaining the cars because the back roads around here can be pretty rough on them. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the phone starts ringing for wedding bookings or temple trips. We like the community feel of Kunjal Jeddu. It’s a place where you know your customers by their first names. We just focus on being there when someone needs a ride and making sure we get them where they're going without any fuss. It’s not complicated, and we like it that way. Sometimes the rain makes the roads difficult, but we know these routes well enough to manage without much trouble.
