Shri Matha Nilaya

This place is located in Kelakali, which is part of the Guddammady Post and Village in Kundapura Tq. We are right here in the Udupi district. It is a bit more of a rural setting compared to some other places, which we actually like quite a bit. It is quieter out here, though we still have plenty of work to do every single day. We have been here for a good while and the locals all know where Shri Matha Nilaya is. We don't really have a big staff or any corporate rules to follow. It is just a few of us making sure things run smoothly every morning. We handle everything from the cleaning to the main daily tasks ourselves. Sometimes it is a bit slow out here, and other times it is very busy with people coming and going for different reasons. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. People usually find us by word of mouth or just by walking past our building. We focus on the practical side of things and don't spend much time on fluff or decoration. The weather can be a bit tricky being in Udupi, especially during the monsoon season when everything gets very damp and muddy. We just keep the place open and do what needs to be done. It is a simple life and a simple way of working. We are just part of the village and that is how we like it best.
