Shri Gajananna Stores

Shri Gajananna Stores is located at 69-8-42 on the Brahmavar Road. We are out in Hebri, which is a nice area if you like being away from the main city noise. The address might sound a bit long, but once you’re on Brahmavar Road, you’ll see our shop soon enough. It’s a straightforward place. We don’t have any big glass windows or fancy air conditioning. We just have the doors wide open to let the breeze in. Hebri can get quite warm, so that breeze is important. We keep a variety of things on the shelves, mostly stuff that the families around here look for. My brother and I take turns behind the counter. We’ve gotten to know just about everyone in this part of Hebri over the years. We started Shri Gajananna Stores because there wasn’t much else on this part of the road back then. The building at 69-8-42 has been in the family for a while. We spend our mornings cleaning the front and rearranging the stock that came in the day before. It’s not a high-pressure job, but it keeps us busy. We like the rhythm of the day here. Sometimes a stray dog will sit by the door for some shade, and we don't mind. It’s just a regular local shop for regular people. It is what it is and we plan to stay here for a good while longer.
