The harbour in Malpe is a busy place, and that’s where you’ll find Shree Matha Marine Pvt. Ltd. Being right by the water means there is always a lot of salt in the air and the sound of boats coming and going. We’ve been operating here for a while, dealing with all the stuff that comes with the fishing industry and marine life. It’s not an office job where you sit in a chair all day. Most of the time, someone is out by the docks or checking on equipment near the water. The harbour has its own pace, starting very early when the sun is barely up. We handle things like boat supplies and whatever the local crews need to keep their vessels running. It gets pretty loud and slippery when the catch is being brought in, but we just work around it. The building isn't anything special, just a functional space where we keep our tools and stock. We deal with the local fishermen and the bigger companies too. It’s a lot of physical labor and being out in the humidity. You learn a lot about how engines react to sea water and what breaks down first. I like being near the ocean, even if it means things get rusty twice as fast. It’s a steady kind of life, governed by the tides and the seasons of the sea. We just stay busy and keep the boats moving as much as possible.
