Down on Car Street in Udupi, you’ll find us at Shree Gajanana Travels. Car Street is one of those places that’s always got something happening, and we are right in the middle of it all. We’ve been operating from this location for years, helping locals and visitors with their travel arrangements. It’s a very straightforward business. We don’t have a big marketing budget or any of those polished websites you see these days. Most of our work comes from people just walking in while they are out doing their shopping or visiting the temples nearby. The office is small and it’s usually filled with the sounds of the street outside. We spend our days looking at bus timings, train schedules, and figuring out how to get people from Udupi to wherever they need to go. Sometimes it’s a short trip to a nearby village, and other times it’s a long journey across the country. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We are just local people who know a lot about travel and want to help others get their bookings done right. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us trying to keep our customers happy so they come back the next time they need a ticket.
