Rose Enterprises

If you find yourself at the Sai Radha Palace Commercial Complex, you just head over to Shop No. 7. That is us, Rose Enterprises. It’s a decent sized complex, lots of other shops around too, so it gets pretty lively in the afternoons. I like the way the light hits the front window in the morning. It makes the dust look like it's dancing. We spend a lot of time just sitting at the desk or moving crates from one side to the other. There is always something to do, even if it’s just sweeping the floor. Being in a commercial complex means there is always people walking past. Some stop to look, some are just in a hurry to get somewhere else. We don’t really mind either way. Shop No. 7 is home for us for most of the day. The walls are a pale color, nothing special. We have a small radio that plays mostly static but sometimes we get a good station. It’s a practical place for Rose Enterprises to be. We keep our records in these old blue folders. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird humming sound but it keeps the place cool enough. You just learn to live with the small things like that. Anyway, we are here from Monday to Saturday, just doing what we do in this little corner of the building. It’s not a complicated life but it keeps us busy enough. The hallway outside usually smells like coffee from the stall next door.
