You can find us over at Rijk Zwaan India Seeds Pvt. Ltd on 3rd Cross, Malpe Madhwaraj Road. Being here in Malpe is nice because you get that coastal air, even if we are mostly focused on seeds and plants. The office is a straightforward place. We spend a lot of time looking at seed samples and talking to growers who come in from all over. The road outside can get a bit crowded, especially on market days, but it’s a good spot for us. We have a small team here, and we all know each other well. It’s not the kind of place where people are formal; we just get on with the work. The building itself is quite plain, but it’s functional for what we need. We store a lot of samples, so there are shelves everywhere filled with packets and jars. Sometimes we go out to the fields to see how the seeds are actually doing, which is the best part of the job. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working at our desks, trying to keep track of everything. It’s a lot of detail work, making sure every batch is right. We like being in Malpe; it’s got a good rhythm to it. We don't have a big reception area, just a desk where you can sign in and wait for one of us to come out.
