Our business, Prabhu Home Products, is situated near the Nithyananda Ashram in the Nileshwari part of Bunder. Being near the ashram means it can get quite busy on certain days with visitors and devotees walking by. The Bunder area has its own charm, though it’s mostly just hard work and people moving goods to and from the area. We’ve been operating here for a while now. Our building isn't anything you’d stop to take a photo of, just a functional place where we keep our home products. We don't have a team of people writing fancy slogans for us or anything like that. It’s mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We spend our time checking the stock and making sure things are in the right place for the next day. Sometimes the salt air from the coast makes things a bit rusty if we aren't careful, but we try to keep the place clean and organized as much as possible. We don't make big promises about being the best or anything like that. We just sell what we have and try to be fair about it to anyone who walks in. The day usually starts early and ends when the last customer leaves. It’s a simple routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We like being in Nileshwari. It feels like home to us.
