Paharpur Cooling Tower Ltd

Our setup is down in Karnataka, specifically in the Padubidri area near Udupi. We operate out of the Lanco Infratech site in Post Nandikur. It is a big industrial zone, so it does not feel like a normal office building. There is a lot of heavy machinery around and the sound of the plant is always in the background. We are mostly focused on the cooling towers for the power projects around here. The weather gets very humid because we are not far from the coast. We wear heavy boots and safety gear most of the time. The office part is just a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets for the technical manuals and site reports. We have a lot of meetings about schedules and parts. Lunch is usually taken quickly because there is always something happening on the floor. It is a long drive out here for some of us, but that is the nature of industrial work. You go where the plants are. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is just calendars and safety posters. We work with a lot of different contractors and engineers throughout the day. It is busy and often quite loud. We just focus on getting the towers assembled and running like they are supposed to. It is hard work, but it keeps the lights on for a lot of people in this part of the state.
