Padmanabh Impex (Opc) Private Limited is based out in a place called Shetrakatte, which is in the Kenchanoor area of Kundapura Taluk. We are part of the Udupi district, and our office is located at 1-216. It’s a quiet spot, far away from the big city noise of Bangalore. Being a one-person company means that I am responsible for everything that happens here. I handle the importing and exporting tasks, which mostly involves sitting at my desk and making sure all the numbers add up. The office is very simple, with just the basic things I need to get my work done. I don't have any employees to manage, so I can just focus on the task at hand. It’s a very direct way of doing business. I spend a lot of time on the phone and sending out emails to make sure shipments are on schedule. The pace of life here in Udupi is a bit more relaxed, which I appreciate. I don't have a fancy mission statement or any corporate slogans. I just try to do my work honestly and make sure I don't make any mistakes with the paperwork. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I enjoy the challenge of running things myself. Most days are pretty much the same, but that consistency is something I’ve grown to like over the years.
