Being based in Kundapura means we are away from the massive city crowds, which is something most of us here appreciate. Our place is easy enough to find if you know the area well, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for some time now. The pace of life in this part of Karnataka is a bit different, and we try to keep that same steady rhythm in our work. We show up early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and start going through the list of things that need finishing. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we can focus on what needs to be done. We have a mix of younger staff and people who have been with us since the beginning, so there’s always someone who knows how things are supposed to run. During the monsoon season, the rain hits the roof pretty hard and it can get a bit loud, but it’s a nice change from the dust. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making the place look like a showroom. It’s more about having a desk, a chair, and getting the tasks sorted out before the day ends. We usually take a long break in the afternoon when it's warmest. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way because it keeps things honest. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it without much fuss.
