Navdurga Food Products Private Limited has been set up here at Plot No. 40 in the Nandikur Industrial Area for a bit now. It’s a busy spot, mostly trucks and other factories around us, but it works well for what we do with food products. Most days start pretty early because there is always something that needs packing or sorting before the heat really kicks in. People sometimes ask how we handle the scale of things, but it’s just a matter of showing up and getting through the list. We aren't doing anything fancy or trying to change the world, just making sure things are done correctly before they head out the gate. The crew here is mostly local folks who know their way around the machines. Sometimes the power flukes out or a delivery is late, which is just part of life in an industrial zone. We just keep the floor clean and the inventory moving. It’s noisy and there is always a bit of dust from the road, but we like the pace. If you're ever driving through Nandikur, you’ll see our sign near the main turn-off. We don't have a big front office or anything, just the workspace where the actual job gets done. It’s simple, steady work and we try to keep it that way. No one here wears a suit, that’s for sure. We just focus on the food stuff and making sure it's ready when it's supposed to be.
