Muniyal Institute Of Ayurveda-Medical Science

We are based in the Shivalli Industrial Area, at 34-C. It might seem a bit odd to have a medical science and ayurveda place in an industrial zone, but it works for us. We have enough space for all our herbs and the processing we do. The smell around our building is quite different from the metal shops nearby; it usually smells like dried roots and oils. We do a mix of things here, from teaching to making traditional medicines. It’s a busy place with people coming and going all day. The building is practical, nothing too shiny, just enough rooms for the students and the clinic work. We’ve been here in Shivalli for quite some time now. Some of the staff have been around since the start. We don't really do big flashy ads. Most people come because they heard from a neighbor or a friend. The morning starts with preparing the batches and checking the inventory. It’s a lot of manual work, sorting through plants and making sure everything is right. We deal with the local climate, which can be tough on some of the ingredients. We just keep doing what we do, day by day. It’s a quiet kind of life compared to the city, but we like it this way. The routine stays the same, and that is how we manage to keep everything running.
