Matcon Testing Laboratory

We are located right near the old ice factory in Trasi, which is part of the Udupi district in Karnataka. Our spot is just off NH-17, so it is quite easy to find if you are driving along the highway. We spend most of our days here checking construction materials in our lab. It is often dusty work and the coastal weather makes the air feel heavy, but we just get on with the testing. People from all over the district bring us samples when they are starting a new building or fixing up a road. The lab is not a fancy corporate office. It is a practical space with benches, machines, and plenty of notebooks to record our findings. Sometimes the trucks on the highway make a lot of noise, but we are used to it. We keep the doors open to catch the breeze while we work. Most of our staff have been here for a while and they know exactly how to handle the equipment. We do not have a big reception area or shiny signs. We just focus on getting the numbers right so the builders know their materials are solid. It is a quiet life in Trasi, except for the traffic. We have been part of this community for a long time and we like the honest pace of the work we do here on the coast.
