Manipal Industries Limited

Manipal Industries Limited is based out of Udupi, specifically at a place called Gurukripa in Paniyadi Kunjibettu. It is care of Rajendra Acharya, and this is where most of our industry work gets managed. Udupi is a beautiful part of Karnataka, and being in Kunjibettu gives us a bit of a calmer atmosphere than the bigger cities. The office is basically a house or a small building that has been converted for work. It has a very local, personal feel to it. We are not some giant factory with smoke stacks; we are more on the administrative and management side of the industry. The weather here can get quite rainy, so we spend a lot of time indoors during the monsoon season. We do our best to keep things organized, though with all the files we have, it can get a bit messy sometimes. Rajendra handles a lot of the main decisions. We do not have a lot of visitors, but when we do, it is usually people we have known for years. It is a very grounded way to run a business. We focus on the tasks at hand and do not worry too much about looking like a big corporation. It is just how things are done here in the Udupi taluk. We show up, do the work, and enjoy the local life as it comes.
