Being in the fisheries business in a place like Udupi makes a lot of sense. "Kadal" means the sea, and we are never too far from it here. Alpha Towers is a decent building, and we have our office space there. It’s not super fancy, just a regular office where we handle the fish trade. You can usually find us on the phone talking to the docks or checking the prices. The building has some other offices too, so there is a bit of coming and going. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of paperwork. The Udupi weather is mostly hot and sticky, so the fans are always spinning. From our window, you can see a bit of the town. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of getting fish from one place to another. It’s a busy job and can be quite stressful when the catch is low. But we’ve been doing this for a while. We know the boat owners and the markets. Working out of Alpha Towers is convenient for us. It is just a plain, hardworking office in the middle of a fishing town.
