Janani Earthmovers

We’re set up in the Janani Complex over in Chandra Nagar, specifically at number 47-9-21. This area of Padur has grown a lot lately, but our spot in the complex stays pretty much the same. We deal with heavy machinery, so things can get pretty dirty around here. You’ll usually see some mud on the floor or grease on the door handles. It’s just the nature of working with earthmoving equipment. Our office is where we keep the logs and the keys. It’s a bit cramped with all the manuals and spare parts sitting on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the machines need to go next. Sometimes a piece of equipment comes back and it needs a lot of cleaning before it can go out again. We do that work right outside when the weather is good. The other businesses in the complex are used to us by now, even when we’re making a bit of a mess. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of engines or metal clanking. We don't wear suits or anything like that; it’s mostly boots and work shirts that have seen better days. We’ve been in Padur for a while and have seen the buildings go up all around us. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. We just keep the machines ready and the paperwork moving.
