Jaafna Waffles Private Limited

Our shop, Jaafna Waffles Private Limited, is located in Rooms 7 and 8 on the ground floor of the MGM Arcade. We’re right at D No 4-16A9 and 4-16A10 in the Vidyarathna Nagar area, near the End Point in Manipal. It’s a student-heavy part of town, so things stay pretty lively around here until late. We spend most of our time around the waffle irons, which makes the whole place smell like batter and sugar all day long. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cramped when it’s busy, but we’ve gotten used to working in tight quarters. We aren't part of some big chain with a million rules. It’s just a few of us trying to get the waffles right and making sure the toppings are fresh. Sometimes the machines act up or we run out of a certain fruit, and we just have to tell the customers and move on. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our day is just mixing batter and keeping the counters clean. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but seeing people enjoy a hot waffle makes it okay. The arcade has its own rhythm, and we’re just one small part of it. We try to be friendly and keep the work steady without making a big deal out of it. It’s just simple, honest food in a busy corner of Udupi.
