Hanuman Enterprises

Hanuman Enterprises is located at 1-16-12 on Jamia Masjid Road in Malpe. It’s not too far from the water, so you can sometimes smell the salt in the air. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time. It’s a sturdy place, though the salt air does a number on the metal shutters. We have to grease them more often than I’d like. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly stuff for the local trade and some household goods. It’s a bit of a mix. The road out front is usually busy with people going to the mosque or heading down to the harbor. We see a lot of different people every day. I spend most of my time in the back office or checking the inventory on the shelves. It’s a lot of paperwork, which isn't my favorite part of the job, but it has to be done. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical setup where people come in, get what they want, and head out. We try to be helpful if someone is looking for something specific we don't have. Sometimes the deliveries from the bigger cities take a few extra days, but that’s just how it is in Malpe. We just keep the doors open and do our work. It’s a steady life and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street.
