Gulf Housing &Construction Co

Our small office is located in Gundmi Village, which is part of Satana in Udupi. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities, but we stay quite busy with housing projects in this area. Being in the 576226 pin code means we know most of our neighbors and the families around here. We started Gulf Housing & Construction Co to help local people get their homes built without having to go to the big city firms. It is practical work. We spend a lot of time visiting sites and talking to the masons. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the monsoon, so getting materials delivered takes some planning. We keep a simple set of books and don't bother with much marketing. People just know where to find us. Sometimes we have tea with the clients while we look over the plans on a wooden table. It’s a very hands-on way of doing business. We aren't looking to become some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the houses we build are solid and the roofs don't leak when the heavy Udupi rains come down. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we are part of the community. If there is a problem at a site, we just drive over and fix it. It’s a straightforward life and we like working in the village. We handle the materials, the labor, and the daily planning right here from our Gundmi base.
