Out here in Udupi, specifically in Vidya Nagar Santhoor, things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities. Our office for Glamskyz I&E Private Limited is located at D No 2-7/2D, right near the Pilar Post. Being in Karnataka, we get the heavy rains and the humid afternoons, which sometimes makes moving goods a bit of a challenge. We handle import and export tasks from this spot. It is not a massive warehouse or some glass building; it is a straightforward workspace where we keep our records and coordinate with transporters. We spend a lot of time walking over to the post office or checking on local pickups. The address can be a bit tricky for drivers to find the first time, but they usually get the hang of it after one visit. We have a couple of desks and a printer that probably works harder than we do. Most of our day is spent tracking where things are and making sure the details match up with what the customers expect. It is a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls. We do not really go in for fancy decorations or big meetings. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home. The area is quiet, which is nice for focusing on the details of the trade business. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, but that is just part of the job. It is honest, regular work for us.
