We have been operating out of this building on Siddapura Road for quite a long time now. People around Basarur generally know where to find us if they need anything. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have some heavy machines and a lot of sacks piled up in the corners. Most of our day is spent out on the floor making sure everything is running like it should. My brother and I usually take the morning shift and then a couple of local guys come in to help us finish up later in the afternoon. The office is just a small desk near the front door where we keep our paperwork in some old folders. It gets pretty loud and dusty when the machines are all going at once, but that is just how the work goes. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. Usually, people just see our name painted on the side of the wall when they drive past. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait for it to come back on. That gives us time to have some tea and talk. We just try to get the work done and stay busy. It is an honest way to make a living and we have been at it for years. Basarur is a quiet place and we like being part of the neighborhood here on Siddapura Road.
