Concept Interior

Our place, Concept Interior, is up on the second floor of Hind Tower. We are at Shop No-06, which is right across from the Head Post Office. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it is quieter up there away from the street noise. The shop is filled with all sorts of samples like wood pieces, fabric swatches, and different kinds of finishes. It is not a huge space, so things can get a bit cluttered when we have several projects going at once. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the desks drawing things out or talking to people about what they want for their homes. It is a lot of looking at catalogs and trying to figure out what fits where. We do not have a big flashy showroom like some of the bigger places in the city. Most people find us because they were already heading to the post office and saw our sign. We keep things pretty simple here. There is usually a pot of tea going and some papers spread out all over the main table. It is a working office more than a fancy design studio. We like the location because it is central and easy for people to reach. We just focus on getting the details right for whoever walks through the door. It is a lot of paperwork and measurements but we manage to stay organized.
