Cheer Soft Drinks

If you go over to Bannaje, right near the City Bus Stand, you will see Cheer Soft Drinks. It is a very busy part of town because of all the buses coming and going all day long. We set up here because there are always people waiting for their ride and they usually get thirsty while they wait. The noise from the bus engines and the conductors shouting is something we hear from morning till night. Our shop is quite simple, mostly just racks of bottles and a few cooling units that hum in the background. We have a lot of regular travelers who stop by every day for a quick drink before they hop on their bus to the next village. It is a fast-paced environment, so we have to be quick with making change and handing out the bottles. We don't really have time for long chats with everyone, but we recognize the regular faces. I have a couple of boys working with me to help keep the stock full because we go through a lot of crates in a week. Sometimes the bus stand gets really crowded when there is a holiday or a local festival, and those are our busiest days of the year. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just stay open and keep the drinks cold. It is a practical business in a very practical location. We have been here for several years now and have become part of the daily routine.
