Canara Tours & Travels

Canara Tours & Travels is located out in Santhekatte, which is a bit of a different vibe than the main Udupi center. Our office is at the Southern Travel Off, right near the Junior College. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for people in this part of town to reach us without having to go all the way into the middle of the city traffic. We’ve been here for a while and we mostly deal with locals who are looking to go on a trip or maybe students from the college who need to get home for the holidays. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular room with some chairs and a desk where we handle all the bookings. We don’t use any of those big marketing slogans. We just talk to people like neighbors because that’s mostly who our customers are. Sometimes we’re busy with a lot of people at once and other times it’s quiet enough to have a tea and watch the street. We handle various travel needs, mostly just figuring out the easiest way for someone to get from point A to point B. It’s a practical business. We don’t promise the moon, we just try to get the tickets and the dates right. If you’re near the Junior College, you can just walk in and we can see what we can do for your next trip. We try to keep things simple for everyone.
