Biotech Chemicals

You can find Biotech Chemicals at Spl-1 in the Industrial Estate in Manipal. This area is mostly factories and warehouses, so we fit right in. It’s not the most scenic part of town, but it’s where the work happens. We handle different kinds of chemical products, which means we have to be pretty careful about how we store things. Our building is a simple one-story structure with a metal roof that gets loud when it rains. We have a few labs inside that are kept cleaner than the rest of the place, but the main area is just for barrels and boxes. There is a small group of us here, and we’ve all been together for several years now. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break room or outside if the weather is nice. Manipal is a busy place, but the industrial estate stays pretty much the same day after day. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our customers have been buying from us for a long time because they know we are here and what we do. It’s a very practical way to run a business. No one wears a suit or tie around here. We just wear what’s comfortable and safe for the job. Our days are mostly spent checking inventories and filling orders. It isn't glamorous, but it’s what we do, and we’re okay with that.
