Anisha Tours&Travels

We operate out of Yermal, specifically in the Padpu Thota area. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main town of Udupi, which we actually prefer. Anisha Tours&Travels isn't a big fancy operation with a glass front. It’s more of a home-grown business where we manage our vehicles and bookings. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and making sure everyone gets picked up on time. Living and working in Padpu Thota means we know the local roads like the back of our hands. We started this because we had a car and realized people needed rides to the station and for local weddings. Now we have a few more vehicles, but it’s still very much a family thing. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, and we are constantly washing the cars to keep them looking okay. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially during the festival seasons. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website with flashy photos. Most people find us through word of mouth or by seeing our cars around. We just try to be reliable. If we say we will be there at five, we try our best to be there. It’s a simple business for simple needs. We are just local people helping other local people get around Udupi without a lot of hassle.
