We are located on Dhanvanthri Road in Padubidri, right inside the Arjuna Ayurveda Sankeerna. It is a familiar building for people in this area who look for traditional remedies. Our setup isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. There are wooden tables where we sort through different leaves and barks that come in. We spend a lot of time cleaning and drying things before they get turned into powders or oils. It’s a bit of a messy process, to be honest. There is always some dust from the grinding or a bit of oil spilled on the counter. We don't try to hide that because it shows we are actually working. The smell of the place is very strong, mostly a mix of bitter and sweet herbs. Some people find it overwhelming when they first walk in. We've been doing this for a while now and we know the locals who come by. They usually have a specific problem and want to know if we have the right mix for it. We don't make any big promises, we just show them what we have prepared according to the old recipes. It’s a quiet routine. We open up, see what needs to be bottled, and talk to whoever drops by. Padubidri is a nice place to work, and being on Dhanvanthri Road feels right for what we do every day. It is just steady, hands-on work that keeps us busy until sunset.
