Al-Rifai Travels

Over in Koteshwara, you’ll find us at Al-Rifai Travels. We’ve been set up here in the Kundapura area for several years. It’s a bit quieter than the main town center, which we actually prefer. Our office is a simple place where we manage a small fleet of vehicles for local trips and longer journeys. Most of our days are spent checking schedules and talking to drivers over the phone. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that; we just rely on word of mouth and the people who live nearby. Koteshwara is a nice place to work, and we know most of the families around here. When someone needs a vehicle for a pilgrimage or a trip to the city, they usually just drop by or give us a call. We try to keep our cars in good shape, though the dusty roads around here make it a constant battle to keep them clean. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in Udupi, just an honest one that people can call when they need to. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants a car at the same time. But we enjoy the hustle and the chance to meet different people every day. We just take things one day at a time and try to do a decent job for our neighbors. There is always something to fix or a route to plan out.
