Aashriwad Travels

You can find Aashriwad Travels right at the Service Bus Stand in Udupi, almost directly across from Hotel Tourist. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been in this 576101 spot for quite a bit. The office is just a small room with some posters on the wall and a few chairs for people to wait. We don't go in for fancy furniture or anything like that. Our day is mostly spent answering questions about bus timings and booking seats for people going out of town. It gets pretty loud with all the buses idling nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. Sometimes we run out of tea or the desk is a mess of old receipts, but we keep things going. We aren't a big corporation with a call center. It’s just us sitting here, talking to folks who need to get from one place to another. A lot of our regulars are people staying at the hotel across the road. They come over for help with their trips. We just do the work and try to be honest about how long things will take. No fancy promises here. We just book the travel and hope the roads are clear. It's a simple life running a travel desk in a place as busy as this.
