Oswal Udyog

Up here in the Idukki District, specifically in Kattekkanam, Kootar, is where you’ll find Oswal Udyog. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but it’s where we live and work. Being in a place like this means things move a little slower than in the big cities. We don't mind that at all. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a workspace that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't some polished firm with a glass front. We’re a practical outfit dealing with whatever needs doing in the local area. Most of the time, we’re busy with the day-to-day tasks that keep a small business running. There’s a lot of manual labor involved, and we don't shy away from it. The weather in Idukki can be a bit unpredictable, which sometimes messes with our plans, but we just adapt. We don't have a big team or a human resources department. It’s just a small group of us who know the job and get it done. We’ve been a part of the Kootar community for a while now. People know where we are if they need anything. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and we know our business. It’s a quiet life, but it’s honest work, and that’s enough for us.
