Spa Coconuts (P) Ltd

Our place in Valavadi is right where the coconut trees start to get thick. It’s a small village near Udumalpet, and most people here know us by name. We didn't start Spa Coconuts to be some huge corporation. It was just a way to use the local harvest better. Every morning, the sun hits the office window around seven. That’s when the first workers arrive. We spend most of the day checking the piles of nuts and making sure the drying area is clear. The machines we use aren’t the newest ones you’ll find, but they get the job done if you know how to fix them when they act up. Sometimes the road gets muddy after a big rain, and the trucks have a hard time getting in. We just wait it out. There’s a tea shop down the road where we spend our breaks talking about nothing in particular. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a big sign. Just a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of work to do. We’ve been doing this for a few years now, and we’ve learned a lot about how to handle the shells and the oil. It’s not always easy, especially when the market price changes or the harvest is thin. But we stay busy. We like the work because it keeps us connected to the land here in Valavadi. We just keep going, day after day.
