Om Sakthi Stones

Om Sakthi Stones is located at S. F. 376 in Chinna Veerampatti, right along the Pethappampatti Main Road in Yeripala. It is a simple place where we spend most of our time out in the open yard. We deal with all kinds of local stones for building and landscaping. It’s a very physical job and we are usually tired by the end of the day. The yard is quite large, which is lucky because the slabs take up a lot of room. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. If you want to see what we have, you just have to drive down the main road and stop by. We have a small desk in the corner of the shed where we do the billing and talk to the drivers. The dust from the stone cutting gets on everything, even our lunch. It’s just part of the life here in Yeripala. We know most of the local contractors and they often stop by for a chat and to see what new stock we have. Sometimes the saws break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them instead of cutting stone. It’s not a glamorous business but it’s ours. We don’t have any big plans to become some huge corporation. We just want to keep the yard running and provide for our families. It’s steady work and we are happy to be part of the community here.
