Trikuta Arts is located in Village Chamba Chandwa, which is part of the Reasi district. It’s a beautiful area, surrounded by hills and a lot of green. Here, we spend our time on different types of art and craft work. It’s not a factory with assembly lines. It’s more of a workshop where things take time to finish. We work with our hands quite a bit. Sometimes the workshop gets cluttered with materials, tools, and half-finished pieces, but that’s just how we work best. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule. If a piece needs more time, it gets more time. The people working here are all locals from the village or nearby. We learned a lot of these skills from our elders. It’s a quiet life for the most part, away from the big city noise. We get visitors occasionally who are passing through Reasi, and we show them what we are making. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just let the work speak for itself. Sometimes we run out of a certain material and have to wait for the next delivery to come up the mountain roads. It’s a bit slow sometimes, but we like it that way. We just want to keep these traditions going and make things that look decent. It’s an honest way to spend the day.
