New Menz Square

New Menz Square is located right near the Jamia Masjid in Mendhar, which is out in the Poonch district. Being so close to the masjid means we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a very specific feeling. Mendhar is a bit of a journey to get to if you’re coming from the bigger cities, but it’s a beautiful area. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. We have a front door that sticks a little in the summer heat and a few windows that look out toward the square. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get people inside. People know we are here because they pass by on their way to the mosque or the market. We spend our time managing the inventory and talking to the locals. It’s a small-town atmosphere where news travels fast and everyone is connected somehow. We don't have any grand slogans about being the highest quality. We are just New Menz Square, a small business in a quiet part of Poonch. The air is clear up here, and we like the pace of life. We aren't trying to expand into some giant corporation. We just want to keep things running smoothly and stay a part of the Mendhar community for as long as we can. It’s a simple existence, and we are satisfied with it. Most days are peaceful.
