We're based out in Navgaon, which is in the Banihal area of Ramban district. It’s a pretty rugged spot if you know this part of the country. Navayuga Engineering Company Limited has its setup here because of the projects nearby. Working in Banihal means you have to deal with the weather, especially when it gets cold or the roads get tricky. We’ve got a mix of people working here, some local and some who moved here for the work. The site isn't exactly a five-star hotel, but it works for what we need. It can get dusty and loud when the machines are running, but that's just part of the job. Most of the time, we’re just focusing on the engineering tasks at hand. Dist-Ramban has its challenges, like the hills and the transport times, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s more about boots on the ground and getting things built. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use the generator. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and making sure things are lined up right. The town of Navgaon is small, so everyone knows where the site is. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s expected of us. It is just how things go for us.
